Proposed Amendment to 2019-22 CentreCounty Transportation Improvement Program (TIP)

(Route 322/144/45 Corridors)

The Centre County Metropolitan Planning Organization (CCMPO) coordinates transportation planning in Centre County. The CCMPO’s TIP is a four-year financial document that lists the proposed expenditure of federal and state funds for road, bridge and public transit projects. The CCMPO is considering a proposed amendment to the 2019-22 Centre County TIP to add $20 million in state funds for PennDOT to complete the Preliminary Engineering phase of the State College Area Connector project (Route 322/144/45 Corridors). Information about PennDOT’s Route 322/144/45 Corridors Data Refresh effort will also be available for review at the public meeting. The proposed TIP amendment will be available for a 30-day public comment period t hat begins on Friday, May 3, 2019 and concludes at noon Monday, June 3, 2019. The CCMPO Coordinating Committee will consider approving the T I P amendment at its regular meeting at 6 p.m. Tuesday, June 25, 2019 at t he Patton Township Municipal Building, 100 Patton Plaza, Stat e College. The CCMPO is committed to meeting the requirements of federal and state laws and regulations about providing citizens with reasonable opportunities to be involved in the planning process.
